We love our name - Spigit. But occasionally it causes some confusion out there when people search for us. They mistakenly run a search on 'Spigot'. If you've arrived here having done that, click here to go to our home page.
 Now spigots are quite useful, and they've been around for a long time. In fact, running a search on 'spigot' yields 1.3 million results.
Well, we aren't changing our name, or adding 'spigot' to our web pages. So how to catch those looking for us using 'spigot'? Google recently confirmed that stuffing the web page meta tag keywords with terms has zero effect on search results. So we can't go that route. Also, someone is sitting on the URL www.spigot.com.
But hey! We have this blog. Why not publish a blog post with the misspelling in the title? This post will get indexed by the search engines, and perhaps we have another way to reach those trying to find us.
So that's why this blog post exists. And for good measure, let's add a few of the keywords:
